We’re making long days and progressing rapidly through our engineering test stages in our basement. We’re extremely proud to share a set of cool bits and pieces

Nowadays, our test engineer Domagoj brews twice a day

  • Brewed over 50 sessions in the last month

  • So far, crafted 25 fruity pale morning sessions and 25 white hoppy afternoon sessions

  • Optimized the brewing and fermentation process to perfect brew conditions

  • Used our new brew application to fully control the process

  • Eliminated all bugs in the hardware and software and close to a stable working system

  • We’re getting close to final assembly of the next 3 beta machines

24/7 testing

We’re stoked about our new revolutionary vessel so you can ferment and tap your beers just from same keg you’ve used while brewing beer. We've been spending a lot of time on testing the automatic fermentation process and our vessels are live 24 hour 7 days a week.

MiniBrew kegs

Each day, two fermentation vessels are fired up and connected to the cloud via WiFi

We’ve a built an app (internal purposes at the moment) to keep track of each vessel and we are able to optimize the process from our home.

Manufacturing Progress

The MiniBrew engineering team has been in contact with R&D, manufacturing and assembling facilities over the last 6 weeks. In upcoming 2 weeks, we'll kick-off mass manufacturing and our co-founder, Bart together with the engineering team will oversee the transition between the design and manufacturing stages of the project.

Distribution update

In the meantime, we’re getting prepared to set up the logistics behind sending ingredient packs all over the world. Upcoming week, Olivier en Ko will visit Oregon Brewers Festival and meet the owners of local hop farms. One of the nation's longest-running craft beer festivals, the Oregon Brewers Festival is considered a destination, and 80,000 craft beer lovers annually make the pilgrimage to Beervana to drink up what the festival has to offer.

The popularity of (craft) beer in The Netherlands is growing, as well as the supply. That can be derived from the many publications about beer, the wider range of supermarkets in the area of special beers and the extensive beer cards in the hospitality industry. Also on Social Media is seeing an increase in people interested in beer.  Read more here
